Baked Parmesan Nuggets (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Coating

01 - 1 cup breadcrumbs, dried
02 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
03 - 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
04 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
05 - 1 tsp garlic, minced
06 - 1/4 tsp salt (kosher)
07 - 1/8 tsp black pepper, ground
08 - 1 pinch Italian herb mix, dried
09 - 1/4 tsp garlic-flavored salt

→ Main Ingredient

10 - 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into pieces (1-2 inch)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 450°F and move the oven rack to the middle spot.
02 - Use paper towels to pat the chicken dry. Makes the breading crispier.
03 - Stir the butter with minced garlic in one bowl. Toss breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and spices together in a separate bowl.
04 - First dunk chicken in the garlic butter. Then press it into the breadcrumb mix so it sticks.
05 - Spread chicken pieces on a baking pan, leaving space around. Pour any leftover butter on top. Bake for 15 minutes at 450°F. Make sure the chicken reaches 165°F inside.

# Notes:

01 - Darker pans might cook the bottoms faster.
02 - Bottoms of chicken tend to brown more than the tops.
03 - If butter hardens on cold chicken, just warm it up again.
