Chicken with BBQ Rice (Print Version)

01 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
02 - 120ml BBQ sauce
03 - 200g white rice (long-grain)
04 - 80ml honey
05 - 15ml soy sauce
06 - 500g chicken thighs, no skin or bones

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 375°F (190°C) so it’s hot enough for tender chicken and a saucy finish.
02 - Stir honey, BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and chopped garlic together in a big bowl until it’s smooth and shiny.
03 - Use cooking spray or oil to coat a baking dish, so nothing sticks and cleanup is a breeze.
04 - Mix the chicken thighs in half of the sauce, then set them in the greased dish. Pour the leftover sauce evenly over the top.
05 - Put the dish into the oven for about 35-40 minutes. Baste the chicken midway through cooking. It’s ready when juicy and the sauce is thick and bubbly.
06 - Take the dish out of the oven, and let it sit for 5 minutes so the flavors settle and it’s safe to serve.
07 - Spoon the chicken over cooked rice, then add extra sauce from the dish on top before serving.
