Glowing Cotton Candy Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 tablespoons tonic water
02 - 1 large egg
03 - ½ teaspoon baking powder
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - ½ teaspoon cotton candy extract
06 - 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
07 - Neon food coloring (pink, blue, purple)
08 - ¾ cup granulated sugar
09 - ¼ teaspoon salt
10 - Edible glitter or luster dust
11 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F (175°C). Lay some parchment paper on a baking sheet so it's ready to go.
02 - In one mixing bowl, stir the flour, salt, and baking powder together and leave it aside.
03 - Use a mixer to blend the softened butter and sugar till it's light and airy.
04 - Toss in the egg, vanilla, and cotton candy extracts. Stir them in well, then mix the tonic water for a glowing effect.
05 - Slowly add the dry mix to the wet mix. Don’t overdo it. If you'd like colorful cookies, split the dough and add your food coloring now.
06 - Form small dough balls, dust them with edible glitter, and put them on the lined baking sheet.
07 - Pop the cookies into the oven for 10-12 minutes, just till the edges firm up. Let them cool before handling.
08 - Eat them as is, or turn on a blacklight and watch them glow before you dig in.
