Taco Stuffed Tomatoes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 450 grams of minced beef
02 - A packet of taco seasoning (about 30 grams)
03 - 4 medium-sized fresh tomatoes

→ Optional Toppings

04 - Dice up some onions as needed
05 - Shredded lettuce—use as much as you like

→ Final Add-Ons

06 - A handful of shredded Mexican cheese blend for flavor
07 - Taco sauce for dipping on the side
08 - Sour cream to top things off

# Instructions:

01 - Carefully score an 'X' on top of each tomato with a sharp knife. Pull back the tops slightly but don’t cut all the way through.
02 - Break apart minced beef in a hot pan and cook over medium heat. Once browned, mix in taco seasoning and stir well. Let it cook together for another 2–3 minutes.
03 - Line the inside of each tomato with a layer of lettuce. Make sure it fully covers the bottom.
04 - Scoop the seasoned beef onto the lettuce layer inside each tomato.
05 - Scatter diced onions on top of the meat, followed by plenty of shredded cheese.
06 - Add a spoonful of sour cream on each stuffed tomato. Pair with some taco sauce on the side and enjoy right away.

# Notes:

01 - For a healthier spin, use ground turkey or plant-based mince instead of beef.
