Mix the peanut butter, butter, and vanilla in a glass bowl, then microwave for about 90 seconds. Stir until the mixture is silky and smooth.

Slowly mix in the powdered sugar, a cup at a time. Keep stirring after each cup until everything is fully mixed together.

Prepare an 8-9 inch pan by either greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper. Pour the fudge evenly into the pan and gently press it to ensure it's evenly spread.

Place the fudge in the fridge and let it chill for 4 hours or until it firms up. Once it's solid, slice it into 1-inch pieces and store in a sealed container in the fridge.

If you'd rather cook on the stove, combine the butter, peanut butter, and vanilla in a saucepan over low-medium heat. Keep stirring until it's creamy. Remove from the heat before adding the sugar as described earlier.
