Cookie Monster Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
02 - 3 cups of plain flour.
03 - 2 teaspoons of cornstarch.
04 - 1/4 teaspoon of fine salt.
05 - 1 and 1/4 cups of packed brown sugar.
06 - 1/4 cup of regular sugar.
07 - 2 large eggs, kept at room temperature.
08 - 1 cup of softened unsalted butter.
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
10 - Gel food coloring (violet, royal blue, and bright blue).
11 - 2/3 cup of white chocolate morsels.
12 - 2/3 cup of chopped Oreo cookies.
13 - 2/3 cup of roughly chopped cookies (use LU Petit Écolier instead of Chips Ahoy).

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare baking trays with silicone mats or parchment paper.
02 - Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix them well.
03 - Use a mixer to blend the butter with both kinds of sugar for a couple of minutes until it’s light and fluffy.
04 - Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until everything’s smooth.
05 - Stir in your dry mixture and food coloring until the dough has an even color.
06 - Gently mix in half of the toppings. Press the rest of them onto the top for extra color and texture.
07 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, just until the edges are firm while the center looks soft.
08 - Leave the cookies on the trays to cool down for 15 minutes before handling.

# Notes:

01 - Stick to gel food colors for the best shade.
02 - Don’t forget to press extra toppings onto the dough.
03 - Avoid leaving the cookies in the oven for too long.
04 - Let them sit on the sheet after baking before transferring.
