Cheesy Chicken Tenders (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko style).
02 - 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan.
03 - 3 large eggs.
04 - 1 cup freshly shredded mild cheddar.
05 - 2/3 cup regular flour.
06 - 2 pounds of chicken filet strips.
07 - 1 1/2 teaspoons of garlic powder.
08 - A pinch of ground black pepper.
09 - 1 teaspoon of flaky sea salt.
10 - Cooking spray to grease.
11 - 1 1/2 teaspoons of paprika.
12 - 2 tablespoons of milk.
13 - Extra sea salt to season the chicken.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to preheat at 400°F and line a baking tray with foil. If using a rack, place it on top.
02 - Spray the foil or rack liberally with cooking spray so nothing sticks later.
03 - In a shallow bowl, stir together your flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well blended.
04 - In another shallow dish, beat the eggs and milk together until it's completely smooth.
05 - In a third shallow dish, carefully combine the panko crumbs with both the cheddar and parmesan cheeses.
06 - Generously sprinkle sea salt on all sides of the chicken tenders before starting the breading.
07 - Roll each chicken tender in your seasoned flour mix, shaking away the extra.
08 - Dip the floured chicken into the egg mix, making sure any extra drips back into the dish.
09 - Press each chicken strip into the panko-cheese blend, making sure it’s coated all around.
10 - Arrange the breaded chicken on the prepared tray or rack, leaving some space between pieces.
11 - Repeat the process (flour, egg, breadcrumbs) using one hand for wet elements and the other for dry to avoid any mess.
12 - Bake the tenders in the oven for 15-20 minutes until their coating turns crispy and golden.
13 - If you don’t use a rack, flip the chicken halfway through for even cooking.
14 - Optional: Turn on the broiler at the end to add even more crispiness to the tenders.
15 - Dish them up hot and crunchy alongside your go-to dipping sauce.
