Sausage Gravy Biscuits (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 16.3 oz can of pre-made biscuit dough
02 - 1 pound of crumbled breakfast sausage
03 - 1/2 cup chopped onions
04 - 2 minced garlic cloves
05 - 1 cup of shredded cheddar
06 - 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
07 - 1/2 cup milk
08 - 1/4 cup plain flour
09 - 1 cup of ready-made or homemade sausage gravy
10 - 2 large eggs
11 - Salt and pepper, for seasoning
12 - Chopped fresh parsley, optional for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet or 12-inch round pizza pan.
02 - Dust some flour on your counter and roll out the biscuit dough. Press it into your pan, covering the bottom and letting it go slightly up the edges to make a crust.
03 - Heat a big skillet over medium and cook the crumbled sausage until browned and no longer pink. This should take 5-7 minutes. Take it out and set it aside.
04 - In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes, just until the onion softens. Stir in the flour and cook for another minute. Gradually pour in the milk, whisking until the mixture thickens, about 2-3 minutes. Toss in the cooked sausage and season with salt and pepper.
05 - Spread sausage gravy evenly over the biscuit crust. Sprinkle both cheddar and mozzarella across the top. Crack and add the eggs spaced around the pizza.
06 - Pop the pizza into your preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. You'll know it's done when the crust is golden, the cheeses are melty, and the egg whites are set but the yolks are slightly runny.
07 - Let the pizza sit for a few minutes after baking. Slice it up, sprinkle parsley on top, and serve while warm.

# Notes:

01 - Spicy lovers can swap in hot sausage or mix in red pepper flakes.
02 - Get ahead by making the gravy the night before.
03 - Pair this dish with hash browns or fresh fruit for a full morning meal.
