Beef Rice Dinner (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

β†’ Rice & Sauces

01 - 4 cups of fluffy cooked jasmine rice
02 - 3/4 cup of warm water or beef stock
03 - 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
04 - 1 1/2 teaspoons of dark soy sauce with mushroom flavor
05 - 2 tablespoons of regular soy sauce
06 - A pinch of black pepper
07 - 1/4 teaspoon of sesame oil

β†’ Main Ingredients

08 - 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
09 - 8 ounces of ground beef, 80% lean
10 - 1 cup of peas, frozen
11 - 1 tablespoon of Shaoxing rice wine
12 - 1 medium onion, chopped into pieces
13 - 4 large eggs
14 - 1 scallion, sliced
15 - 2 tablespoons of cooking oil

β†’ Sweet Soy Mix

16 - 3 tablespoons of hot water
17 - 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
18 - 1 teaspoon of sugar

# Instructions:

01 - In a small bowl, combine the beef stock, soy sauces, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and pepper.
02 - Loosen the cooked rice with a fork to remove lumps.
03 - Heat some oil in a wok. Cook the beef until it loses all pink. Toss in onion, garlic, and rice wine, cooking until the onion softens.
04 - Pour in the sauce, mix in the rice and peas, and stir-fry until it’s all warmed up. Add scallions at the end.
05 - Fry your eggs separately. Plate the rice and place the egg on top. Drizzle the sweet soy mixture over before serving.

01 - Choose any type of ground beef you like
02 - Works best in a well-seasoned wok or non-stick pan
03 - You can fry the eggs to your taste (runny or firm)
