Zesty Shrimp Lime Sauce (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
02 - 4 tablespoons butter
03 - 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and ready to cook
04 - 1/4 cup shallots, finely diced
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra-virgin)
06 - Pinch of sea salt and ground black pepper

→ Sauce

07 - 1 lime, juice and zest separated
08 - 1 1/2 teaspoons fish sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
10 - 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped finely

→ For Serving

11 - Bread (toasted or baked as desired)

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up some oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Dry the shrimp with paper towels, sprinkle on salt and pepper, and cook each side for about 2 minutes or until done. Move the shrimp to a plate.
02 - Melt butter in the pan and toss in the shallots and garlic. Stir and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until you can smell the flavors. Mix in the fish sauce and turmeric.
03 - Put the shrimp back into the pan. Add the lime zest, juice, and chopped cilantro. Mix everything so the shrimp is coated well. Serve alongside your favorite crusty bread.
