Zebra Cookies Vanilla Swirls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 large eggs
02 - 1 cup softened unsalted butter
03 - ½ tsp table salt
04 - 1 tsp vanilla essence
05 - ½ cup plain cocoa powder
06 - 1 tsp baking powder
07 - 1 cup white sugar
08 - 2½ cups standard all-purpose flour

# Instructions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, beat the sugar and softened butter until the mixture gets fluffy and pale.
02 - Divide the dough into two halves. Keep one plain and blend cocoa powder into the other half.
03 - Drop small portions of chocolate and vanilla dough alternately into a baking pan. Use a skewer or toothpick to swirl them into zebra-like patterns.
04 - Let the dough chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes so it doesn't spread too much while baking.
05 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes. Let them cool on the baking pan for 5 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.

01 - Keep your Zebra Cookies in a sealed container with a small piece of bread to keep them soft for up to 5 days.
