Stir the green onions into the leftover bacon grease in the pan. Cook for a minute or so until they soften and smell awesome.

Heat up a large pan over medium-high heat and throw in the bacon strips. Flip the pieces now and then for around 10 minutes until they're totally crisp. Let them drain on paper towels.

Toss the lettuce pieces into a wide bowl. Add the warm mix from the pan and lightly stir until everything is coated evenly.

Crumble the bacon on top of the salad and serve right away while it’s all fresh and warm.
