Valentines Giant Monster Cookie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 2 tablespoons (31g) smooth peanut butter
02 - 1/2 teaspoon real vanilla extract
03 - 2 tablespoons (30ml) whisked egg
04 - 2 tablespoons (28g) soft unsalted butter
05 - 2 tablespoons (25g) light brown sugar
06 - 2 tablespoons (25g) white sugar

→ Dry Ingredients

07 - 1/8 teaspoon salt
08 - 6 tablespoons (46g) plain flour
09 - 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
10 - 2 tablespoons (11g) rolled oats (old-fashioned)

→ Mix-Ins

11 - 2 tablespoons (22g) semi-sweet chocolate chips, with some extra for topping
12 - 1/3 cup (65g) M&Ms

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 325°F. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Cream butter and sugars until smooth. Mix in the egg, peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir in the dry stuff, then fold in M&Ms and chips.
03 - Put the dough in a single mound on the tray. Bake for 20-30 minutes, watching for golden-brown edges.
04 - Let it cool for 10 minutes. If you'd like, gently press extra chocolate chips on top while warm.

# Notes:

01 - You could make four small cookies instead.
02 - Go for a thick peanut butter.
03 - If the dough feels sticky, chill it in the fridge.
