Valentines Day Oreo Truffles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 8 oz of cream cheese in brick form (soft, room temp, 226g)
02 - 36 standard Oreo cookies (405g), skip Double-Stuf ones

→ For Coating

03 - 12 oz chopped chocolate, semi-sweet or white (339g)
04 - Coconut or vegetable oil, just 1/2 tsp

→ Extras for Topping

05 - Sprinkles for Valentine's Day
06 - Crushed Oreo bits
07 - Drizzled chocolate (melted)

# Instructions:

01 - Blend up whole Oreos (cookie and cream altogether) in a processor till they're super fine.
02 - Using a mixer or food processor, combine soft cream cheese with the Oreo crumb mixture. Blend till it all sticks together.
03 - Scoop 1 tbsp portions (18-22g each), shape them into balls. Chill these on a baking tray for at least an hour.
04 - Microwave the chopped chocolate and oil in 20-second intervals, stirring every time. Let cool 5 mins before dipping.
05 - Dip each cold ball in the melted chocolate, tap any extra off. Lay on baking paper and sprinkle on Valentine's sprinkles if you want.
06 - Put the coated truffles back in the fridge till the chocolate sets, then they're ready to serve.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in the fridge for up to 14 days.
02 - Switch up flavors by using Golden, Mint, or classic Oreos.
03 - Stick to brick cream cheese—soft spreadable types won't work.
