Set the oven to 190°C and grease a 23x33 centimetre pan with some butter or oil so food won’t stick.

Warm up a large skillet on medium and toss in the beef. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until it’s browned all through.

In the skillet, add the milk, corn, part of the cheddar, condensed soup, pepper, bacon, sour cream, and onion powder. Mix until smooth and blended.

Spread the beef mixture evenly in the pan. Sprinkle the set-aside cheese on top, then arrange a single layer of frozen tater tots to completely cover it.

Place the pan uncovered in the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the tater tots are crunchy and golden.

Take it out and sprinkle the last bit of cheese over the baked tater tots. Leave it in the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts perfectly.
