Taco Rice Doritos Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cups cooked rice (brown, white, or seasoned with spices)
02 - 1 packet of taco seasoning mix
03 - 1 lb of ground beef
04 - 2 cups Doritos chips, crushed lightly for topping

→ Extra Toppings

05 - 1 cup of shredded Mexican cheese or cheddar
06 - ½ cup of sour cream
07 - 1 cup of diced fresh tomatoes
08 - ½ cup of black beans or corn
09 - 1 sliced avocado or ½ cup guacamole
10 - ½ cup of salsa or fresh pico de gallo
11 - 1 cup of chopped lettuce

# Instructions:

01 - Put a big skillet over medium heat. Cook the ground beef until it’s no longer pink. Drain any extra grease, mix in the taco seasoning and water per packet directions, and simmer for a few minutes to soak in the flavor.
02 - Follow the cooking instructions on the rice package. Want extra taste? Use broth instead of water or toss in a little cumin while cooking.
03 - Spoon some rice into each bowl. Layer on a hefty serving of taco meat, then pile on whatever toppings you like best—cheese, beans, salsa, or lettuce.
04 - Just before eating, scatter crumbled Doritos over the top to add a bit of crunch to every bite.

# Notes:

01 - This meal comes together fast and is full of bold flavors you can tweak to suit your taste. Perfect for weekday dinners or laid-back hangouts.
