Korean BBQ Meatloaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tbsp sesame oil
02 - 1 tsp minced garlic
03 - 1 tsp minced ginger
04 - Sesame seeds for topping
05 - 1 ½ lbs ground beef
06 - 1 tbsp olive oil
07 - 1 egg
08 - ¼ cup soy sauce
09 - 1 tbsp rice vinegar
10 - 2 tbsp gochujang (spicy Korean paste)
11 - 2 tbsp brown sugar
12 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
13 - 1 tbsp sliced green onions (optional for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a loaf pan with oil.
02 - Toss the meat, sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, gochujang, egg, brown sugar, and breadcrumbs into a bowl and mix well.
03 - Shape the mixture evenly into a loaf shape and move it into the prepared pan.
04 - Stick it in the oven for 40-45 minutes, or until it’s cooked all the way and gets a nice brown top.
05 - About 10 minutes before it’s done, spread some extra gochujang and honey over the top for a sweet and spicy finish.
06 - Let the meatloaf sit for 5 minutes after baking, then top it with green onions and sesame seeds before slicing it up.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to use less gochujang if you prefer it milder. Add more for extra heat!
02 - For a sweeter glaze, just mix in a little honey.
03 - Pair this dish with some steamed veggies or rice on the side.
