Sweet Potato Casserole (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 big-sized patates douces (sweet potatoes).
02 - 1/2 cup of melted beurre (butter).
03 - 1/4 tsp de muscade (nutmeg).
04 - 1 cuillère à café (teaspoon) de vanille (vanilla) extract.
05 - 1/2 tsp de cannelle (cinnamon).
06 - 1 tasse (cup) de sucre brun clair (light brown sugar).
07 - 1/2 tsp de sel (salt).
08 - 280 grammes (10 oz) de petites guimauves (mini marshmallows).

# Instructions:

01 - Peel the patates douces and cut them into chunks. Boil till soft.
02 - Mash them until everything is smooth.
03 - Stir in the beurre, sucre, and spices.
04 - Get a 9x13 dish greased up and spread the mix into it evenly.
05 - Scatter guimauves (marshmallows) on top.
06 - Put it in the oven at 175°C (350°F) and let it cook for 25-35 min.
07 - Keep an eye out for when the guimauves are golden and bubbly.

01 - The mix can be made in advance.
02 - Try not to look away when the guimauves are under the broiler.
03 - Grab fresh patates douces for the best result.
04 - Goes great with big celebrations like fêtes (holidays).
