Peel the patates douces and cut them into chunks. Boil till soft.

Mash them until everything is smooth.

Stir in the beurre, sucre, and spices.

Get a 9x13 dish greased up and spread the mix into it evenly.

Scatter guimauves (marshmallows) on top.

Put it in the oven at 175°C (350°F) and let it cook for 25-35 min.

Keep an eye out for when the guimauves are golden and bubbly.
