Sweet Cracker Toffee (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Festive candies or sprinkles
02 - 12 oz white chocolate melts
03 - Saltine crackers
04 - 1 cup dark brown sugar
05 - 1 cup butter

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a 9x13 pan, line it with foil, and lay out the saltine crackers tightly. Make sure no gaps are left.
02 - Toss the butter and brown sugar into a pan and warm them over medium heat. Let it melt, keep stirring, and let it bubble steadily for 3 minutes until it thickens a little.
03 - Pour the hot toffee mix over the crackers evenly. Put it in a 400°F oven for 7 minutes till it turns bubbly and golden-brown.
04 - Pull the pan out of the oven and scatter the white chocolate melts across the warm surface. Wait 2 minutes for it to soften, then spread it smoothly.
05 - Sprinkle your candies or colorful toppings over the soft chocolate. Lightly press them down so they stick. Let it cool for about 30 minutes in the fridge till firm.
06 - After it’s cold and set, take out the foil-lined candy, snap it into random pieces, and keep it stored or serve it up.

# Notes:

01 - For the best crunch, give the toffee mix the full three minutes at a strong boil.
02 - This can be made ahead by up to 5 days if kept sealed in an airtight container.
03 - Mix it up with milk or dark chocolate if white chocolate isn’t your thing.
