White Wine Sangria Mint (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Strawberry Syrup

01 - 66 grams white sugar
02 - 120 millilitres water
03 - 3 cups sliced fresh strawberries

→ Sangria Mix

04 - Chilled strawberry syrup made earlier
05 - 2 cups fresh strawberry slices
06 - 750 millilitres dry white wine
07 - Half an orange, thinly sliced
08 - 120 millilitres fizzy club soda
09 - A few fresh mint sprigs

# Instructions:

01 - Dump the strawberries, water, and sugar into a saucepan and cook over medium heat. Stir every now and then until the sugar melts and the strawberries soften—about 10 minutes.
02 - Pour the mixture through a fine sieve to separate the liquid. Toss out the strawberry chunks and pop the syrup in the fridge to cool.
03 - In a big pitcher, stir together the cold strawberry syrup, white wine, and soda water until they're well blended.
04 - Gently stir in your orange slices, strawberry pieces, and some mint leaves. Spread them out so it looks pretty.
05 - Stick the sangria in the fridge for at least an hour so the flavors get a chance to blend together.
06 - Toss ice into glasses, pour in the sangria, and make sure each glass gets a bit of fruit before serving.

# Notes:

01 - To get the best taste, keep the sangria in the fridge for a few hours and throw in the mint just before drinking.
