# Ingredients:

→ Salad Base

01 - 450g (1 lb) strawberries, cleaned, trimmed, and cut into slices
02 - 140g (5 oz) fresh baby kale or spinach, rinsed thoroughly
03 - 60g (1/4 cup) sweet candied pecans
04 - 125g (1/2 cup) crumbled goat or feta cheese

→ Balsamic Vinaigrette

05 - 15ml (1 tablespoon) plain honey
06 - Salt and black pepper (use freshly ground if possible)
07 - 60ml (1/4 cup) balsamic vinegar or thick balsamic glaze
08 - 5ml (1 teaspoon) Dijon mustard for a tangy kick
09 - 60ml (1/4 cup) high-quality olive oil

# Instructions:

01 - Toss together the fresh greens, strawberries, and cheese in a big mixing bowl.
02 - Combine olive oil, honey, balsamic, mustard, salt, and pepper in another bowl. Whisk until it all comes together smoothly.
03 - Drizzle the vinaigrette onto the salad and gently mix to coat everything well.
04 - Finish by scattering the candied pecans on top for crunch. Serve right away.

01 - Best enjoyed as soon as it's made to keep the flavors fresh
02 - Don't add the dressing too early or the greens might wilt
03 - Try swapping in some avocado cubes, red onion slices, or a different dressing to mix things up
