Garlic Spaghetti Subs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 480 ml of marinara sauce
02 - 4 hoagie rolls
03 - 450 g of dry spaghetti

→ Cheese and Toppings

04 - 60 g of shredded mozzarella
05 - Pinch of salt and black pepper
06 - 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped finely
07 - 60 g of Parmesan, grated

→ Garlic Spread

08 - 3 cloves of garlic, minced
09 - 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Get a big pot of salty water boiling. Add the spaghetti and cook it until it’s firm but cooked (check the package for timing). Drain, then mix it with marinara sauce so it’s fully coated.
02 - Heat your oven up to 190°C and wait until it’s nice and hot.
03 - Grab a serrated knife, and carefully cut each sub roll lengthwise. Don’t cut all the way through—leave a pocket to hold your fillings.
04 - Combine the melted butter with the minced garlic and half of the parsley in a small bowl. Brush this delicious mixture liberally inside the sub rolls.
05 - Put a generous amount of spaghetti into the rolls. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top evenly.
06 - Line a baking sheet, arrange the stuffed rolls on top, and bake for 10–12 minutes. You want the bread slightly crispy and the cheese to melt nicely.
07 - Take the rolls out of the oven. Sprinkle the rest of the parsley over the top, and enjoy while it’s freshly baked and warm.

# Notes:

01 - Using tongs helps you transfer the sauced pasta into the bread without a mess.
02 - Let the subs cool just a little after baking to make them easier to hold.
