Soft Colorful Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Softened butter (unsalted)
02 - White sugar
03 - Dark sugar
04 - Egg (one)
05 - Vanilla flavoring
06 - Regular flour
07 - Sodium bicarbonate
08 - Table salt
09 - Fruity Pebbles cereal
10 - Optional: White chocolate chips
11 - Optional: More Fruity Pebbles to decorate
12 - Optional: White chocolate topping
13 - Optional: Colorful sprinkles

# Instructions:

01 - Turn on your oven to 350°F (175°C) and get a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
02 - Use a big mixing bowl to beat softened butter with white and brown sugars until it gets fluffy and airy.
03 - Throw in the egg and vanilla and mix well until it’s all blended together.
04 - Take another bowl and stir the flour, baking soda, and salt together until combined.
05 - Slowly stir the flour mixture into the butter mixture until it's just barely combined. Don’t overdo it!
06 - Stir the Fruity Pebbles and white chocolate chips into the dough softly to combine.
07 - Shape the dough into small balls and lay them out on the baking sheet, spreading them out so they’ve got room.
08 - Cook in the oven for about 8-10 minutes. Check that the edges look done, but the centers should still be soft.
09 - With cookies still warm, gently push more Fruity Pebbles on top for added crunch.
10 - Let the cookies sit for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a cooling rack. Add optional white chocolate or sprinkles for extra fun!

# Notes:

01 - You can freeze these cookie dough balls up to 3 months, then bake them straight from frozen if you need a quick snack.
