Shrimp Rasta Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and ready to cook
02 - 12 oz of penne
03 - 2 tbsp olive oil
04 - 2 tbsp jerk seasoning, split up

→ Vegetables

05 - 3 minced garlic cloves
06 - A red bell pepper, cut into slices
07 - A green bell pepper, cut into strips
08 - A yellow bell pepper, cut into pieces
09 - 2 sliced green onions

→ Sauce

10 - 1 cup of shredded Parmesan cheese
11 - Salt and ground black pepper as needed
12 - A cup of heavy whipping cream
13 - Fresh herbs like cilantro or parsley for the top
14 - 1/2 cup chicken or veggie stock

# Instructions:

01 - Boil the penne in salty water following the package details. Drain it once done and keep it aside.
02 - Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of jerk seasoning over the shrimp. Cook them in hot oil for 2–3 minutes on each side till they turn a nice pink. Take them out of the pan.
03 - Use the same pan to soften the bell peppers. Stir in the garlic and let it cook an extra minute.
04 - Pour in the broth to scrape up the good bits. Add cream, the rest of the jerk seasoning, and Parmesan, stirring to keep it silky.
05 - Mix the pasta into the sauce, toss in the shrimp, and sprinkle the green onions and fresh herbs on top.

01 - Change jerk seasoning amount to your liking
02 - Pick whatever bell pepper colors you enjoy
03 - Swap veggie broth for chicken broth if needed
