Savory Pasta Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
02 - 16 ounces penne pasta
03 - 1 pound ground Italian sausage
04 - Salt
05 - 1 onion, diced
06 - 1 red bell pepper, sliced
07 - 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning
08 - 2 cans (15 ounces each) diced tomatoes

09 - Parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Throw the pasta into some boiling salted water and cook it like the box says. Hold on to a cup of that water before draining it.
02 - Cook the sausage in a pan over medium heat for about 6 minutes till it browns. Get rid of any extra grease left over.
03 - Toss the diced onion into the pan and cook for a couple of minutes. Mix in the peppers, tomatoes, and Italian seasoning, then let it all cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the peppers soften up.
04 - In a big pot, stir together the pasta, sausage, and veggie mix until everything's nicely combined.
05 - Pour a little of the pasta water into the pot to make the sauce just right. Sprinkle with Parmesan and serve right away.

# Notes:

01 - To have everything done at the same time, start cooking the pasta when you're adding the peppers to the pan.
02 - Add the pasta water slowly until the sauce is as thick or thin as you like.
03 - Eat it immediately to enjoy the best taste and texture.
