Turn on your oven and set it to 190°C (375°F). Cover a baking tray with foil and coat with cooking spray.

Lay out the crackers side by side on the prepared tray in a single layer.

Heat up the butter and brown sugar on the stove until it bubbles and turns a caramel color, roughly 3 minutes.

Drizzle that warm caramel over the crackers and spread it out evenly.

Pop it into the oven for about 7 to 8 minutes, or until it’s good and bubbly.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the hot caramel right when it comes out.

After the chocolate softens, smooth it out with a spatula.

Sprinkle chopped pecans or any topping you’d prefer on top.

Place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours so it hardens properly.

Break it into chunks or pieces and enjoy.
