Rotel Sausage Cream Cheese (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Components

01 - 8 oz of softened cream cheese
02 - 1 lb cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled into small pieces
03 - 2 containers of crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
04 - A 10 oz can of Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained thoroughly

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°F and let it heat up.
02 - Stir together the diced Rotel mix (drained), the sausage pieces, and cream cheese in a large bowl.
03 - Take out the crescent rolls and split them into triangles. Slice each one lengthwise to make smaller sections.
04 - Scoop sausage mix onto each crescent piece, then roll it up gently.
05 - Cook in your oven for around 15 minutes or until you see a golden color.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure you drain the Rotel tomatoes well so the filling doesn't get watery.
02 - You can prepare the filling ahead of time and refrigerate it for up to three days.
03 - A pizza cutter can make slicing the crescent rolls into smaller triangles simpler.
04 - These bites taste amazing right from the oven but are also good at room temperature.
05 - Feel free to swap in turkey sausage, low-fat cream cheese, or reduced-fat crescent dough.
