Garlic Steak Skewers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Steak Marinade

01 - 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
02 - 2 tablespoons honey
03 - ½ cup balsamic vinegar
04 - Salt, as much as you like
05 - 3 cloves garlic, chopped fine
06 - 14 ounces sirloin, diced into 1-inch pieces
07 - Pepper, to your liking

→ Tomato Marinade

08 - ⅓ cup olive oil
09 - 2 cups whole grape tomatoes
10 - 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped finely (remove stems first)

→ Potatoes

11 - 6 metal or wooden skewers
12 - 1 ½ pounds small potatoes

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the grill on to medium heat. Soak wooden skewers in water if you're using them.
02 - Stir together vinegar, honey, garlic, and mustard in a big mixing bowl. Sprinkle in some salt and pepper to season it up.
03 - Toss the steak pieces into the marinade, making sure they're coated. Pop a cover on the bowl and stick it in the fridge for at least 20 minutes or even overnight.
04 - Mix the tomatoes, olive oil, and rosemary in a separate bowl. Put it aside for now.
05 - Put small potatoes in a big pot, cover them with water so it's about an inch above them. Boil until they're just soft enough to poke with a fork, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the water, then set the potatoes aside.
06 - Slide the ingredients onto the skewers. Start with a potato, then steak, then a tomato. Keep going two more times, and finish it off with another potato at the end.
07 - Oil the grill grates, then lay the skewers on. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side, for a total of 10 minutes. Make sure you don't overdo it or dry out the steak.
