Rice Krispie Peanut Balls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tablespoons margarine, softened and at room temperature.
02 - 1 cup powdered sugar (powdered and fine).
03 - 1 cup of peanut butter, creamy is preferred, though chunky works too!
04 - 2 cups crushed Rice Krispies cereal.
05 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.
06 - 2 tablespoons sunflower oil (or vegetable oil).

# Instructions:

01 - Cover a baking sheet with a layer of parchment paper or wax paper.
02 - Take a big bowl and blend together softened margarine, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Add in the cereal and combine everything well.
03 - Roll the mix into small balls, arrange them on the prepared tray, and refrigerate for about half an hour.
04 - Put chocolate chips and the sunflower oil in a large microwavable bowl. Heat for one minute, stir it, then heat again in 20–30 second bursts, stirring each time until smooth and melty.
05 - Dip the chilled balls into the melted chocolate, then lay them back onto the tray. Let them set until firm.
06 - Place finished balls in a sealed container and refrigerate for a few days or freeze them to keep for weeks.

# Notes:

01 - You can use either smooth or crunchy peanut butter depending on your preference.
02 - These treats freeze nicely and stay good for several weeks.
