Ranch Chicken Gravy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
02 - 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
03 - 2 teaspoons ranch mix seasoning
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil, for cooking
05 - 1 teaspoon salt

→ Gravy

06 - 1 cup whole or 2% milk
07 - 3 tablespoons butter, unsalted
08 - ½ cup sour cream
09 - 1 ounce packet ranch seasoning mix
10 - 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
11 - 4 minced garlic cloves

# Instructions:

01 - Chop chicken into small bites. Mix up salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning in a bowl. Coat chicken pieces with the mix so it’s evenly seasoned.
02 - Warm up olive oil on medium-high in a big skillet. Let chicken cook for about 5-6 minutes till golden. Take it out and put it to the side.
03 - Using the same pan, melt butter over medium heat. Toss in garlic and let it cook for a minute to release its smell.
04 - Pour in the cream of chicken soup, milk, and ranch mix. Stir till everything blends well. Simmer a little, then add chicken back in, cover, and cook for about 15 minutes.
05 - Add sour cream and mix gently till smooth. Serve right away over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to tweak the ranch seasoning amount to your taste.
02 - You can include extra veggies like peas or mushrooms if you want.
03 - Tastes even better when reheated the next day!
