→ Extras

09 - Vegetable or canola oil for frying
10 - More sugar for coating

# Instructions:

01 - Stir together warm milk, a little sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes until bubbles form on top.
02 - Mix together flour, salt, and sugar in a big bowl. Then add eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and your yeast mixture. Stir it up until it turns into a sticky dough.
03 - Cover the dough with a cloth and leave it in a cozy spot for 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
04 - Push the air out of the dough, then roll it out on a floured surface. Split into smaller pieces, make them into balls, and let them sit for 15 minutes.
05 - Get a deep fryer or pot ready by warming oil to 175°C (350°F).
06 - Gently add dough balls into the hot oil and cook them for about 2-3 minutes on each side. They’re done when golden brown.
07 - Take them out of the oil, place them on some paper towels to drain, and roll warm doughnuts in sugar.
08 - These taste best fresh, so dig in while they’re warm!

# Notes:

01 - Store in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Don’t put them in the fridge because they’ll get dry.
02 - Reheat by microwaving for 10-15 seconds or warming in an oven at 150°C (300°F) for a few minutes.
