Pecan Honey Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - ¼ cup of olive oil
02 - 1 baguette, cut into thin slices about ¼ inch thick

→ Cheese Blend

03 - 1/8 tsp of salt
04 - 1 1/2 cups of smooth ricotta cheese

→ Toppings

05 - 3 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
06 - A pinch of coarse black pepper (1/8 tsp)
07 - 2 cups of chopped pecans

# Instructions:

01 - Brush olive oil over the baguette slices, then toast both sides in a hot pan until golden.
02 - Stir the ricotta with a bit of salt until it's creamy in texture, using a bowl.
03 - On each toasted bread slice, spread the ricotta evenly.
04 - Sprinkle on pecans, basil, and black pepper. Drizzle some honey over the top for a sweet touch.

01 - To enhance flavor, gently heat the pecans before sprinkling them on top.
