Oyster Sauce Beef Onion (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade

01 - 450 g of thinly sliced beef sirloin
02 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
03 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch

→ Stir-Fry

04 - 2 green onions, chopped (for topping)
05 - 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
07 - Cooked rice for plating
08 - 1 large onion, cut into slices
09 - 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
10 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
11 - 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
12 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
13 - 2 teaspoons sugar
14 - 4 tablespoons beef stock

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the soy sauce, beef slices, and cornstarch in a dish. Let the beef sit for 15 minutes so it absorbs the flavors.
02 - Warm up half the oil in a large pan over high heat. Add the beef and stir it around for a few minutes till it's nicely browned. Take it out and put it aside.
03 - Pour in the rest of the oil and toss in the onions. Cook for 2 minutes until they start to look soft. Add garlic and ginger, then cook for another minute while stirring.
04 - Throw the cooked beef back in the pan. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and broth. Stir until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly. This should take 2 to 3 minutes.
05 - Drizzle sesame oil on top, stir once more, and sprinkle chopped green onions for some crunch. Serve it right away over hot rice.

# Notes:

01 - To make the beef extra tender, slice it as thin as you can and cut against the grain.
