Follow directions on the package to cook linguine, drain well, and keep aside.

Cook ground beef in a big skillet on medium heat, then drain any extra grease.

Throw in garlic and cook for about a minute. Mix in brown sugar, broth, soy sauce, hoisin, ground ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

Combine cornstarch and water, toss it into the skillet, and stir for a couple of minutes till it thickens.

Put the cooked noodles into the skillet and stir until they’re coated in the sauce.

Sprinkle green onions on top before serving. Eat hot!
