Texas Trash Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup sour cream
02 - 2 teaspoons chili powder
03 - 15 ounces refried beans
04 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
05 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese
06 - 1 medium onion, diced
07 - 1/2 cup chopped green onions for garnish
08 - 2 cloves minced garlic
09 - 10 ounces drained diced tomatoes with green chilies
10 - 1 pound ground beef
11 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
12 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
13 - 1 teaspoon cumin
14 - Tortilla chips to scoop it up

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven ready by setting it to 350°F (175°C) and grab a dish for baking.
02 - Cook the ground beef, diced onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat. Get rid of any grease once browned.
03 - Turn the heat low and add in both sour cream and cream cheese. Stir until you’ve got a smooth mixture.
04 - Throw in the refried beans, tomatoes, chili powder, salt, pepper, and cumin. Mix until everything’s blended together.
05 - Pour it all into your dish, toss on some shredded cheddar, and bake for around 20-25 minutes. The cheese should get bubbly and golden.
06 - Sprinkle on some green onions, grab your favorite tortilla chips, and dig in while it’s nice and warm.
