Meatloaf With Stuffing (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/2 cup water
02 - 1/2 cup ketchup (use half for topping)
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 box of Stove Top Stuffing (any flavor you like)
05 - 1 pound ground beef (go for higher fat if you can)

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on and set it to 350°F so it heats while you prep.
02 - Toss the ground beef, dry stuffing, eggs, water, and half of the ketchup into a big bowl. Mix it all up really well.
03 - Grease a bread pan and pack the meat mix into it. Don’t have a loaf pan? No big deal—bake it on a foil-lined tray and fold up the foil edges to catch juices!
04 - Spread the ketchup you set aside over the top. Feel free to swap in bbq sauce, chili sauce, or mix a couple together if you want!
05 - Bake for about 45-50 minutes. Use a thermometer to check—the meatloaf should be 160°F inside.
06 - Let it sit for roughly 5 minutes, then slice and dig in. Mashed potatoes go great with it, but pick anything you love!

# Notes:

01 - Stuffing breadcrumbs soak up moisture, so fattier ground beef works better.
02 - Using lean beef? Add more water, a splash of milk, or an extra egg for moisture.
03 - Toss in diced onion, garlic, shredded cheese, spices, or herbs for extra flavor.
