Pour your rum and limoncello into the shaker, then toss in a handful of ice too.

Lightly crush your mint leaves alongside the syrup and lime juice in the shaker to bring out their oils.

Secure the lid and shake everything hard for around 15 to 20 seconds until it's cold.

Pour the cooled mixture through a strainer right over fresh ice in your glass.

Gently pour soda water into the glass, but leave a little room at the top.

Give it a gentle stir and top with a lime slice plus a sprig of mint to make it shine.
