Lemon Basil Spread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ¼ cup water
02 - 2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves
03 - ½ cup tahini paste
04 - 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
05 - 8 minced garlic cloves
06 - 2 tbsp olive oil
07 - 4 tbsp fresh lemon juice
08 - ½ tsp salt

# Instructions:

01 - Drain your chickpeas and then rinse them thoroughly.
02 - In your blender, toss in everything but the water. Keep the basil on top and the chickpeas and liquid ingredients closer to the blades.
03 - Start on a low speed. Drizzle in water little by little as you blend, pausing occasionally if your blender lid doesn't let you pour while blending.
04 - Keep blending until you get a soft and spreadable mixture.
05 - Scoop it out, dig in, and enjoy every bite!
