Lebanese Kafta Kebabs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Items

01 - 600 grams lean ground beef
02 - 1 teaspoon of salt
03 - ¼ teaspoon of seven spice blend (ready-made)
04 - ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more if you like it hotter
05 - 1 medium yellow onion, cut into quarters
06 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1 cup parsley, freshly washed and dried

# Instructions:

01 - Toss the parsley and onion quarters into your food processor. Pulse it until you’ve got super fine bits.
02 - Put the ground beef in a big bowl. Add in the onion and parsley mix along with all the spices. Give it a good mix using your hands to make it all come together.
03 - Grab some meat mixture, press it around a skewer, and shape it into about 1 to 1.5-inch thickness along the stick.
04 - When using a gas grill, set it to medium-high and lightly oil the grates. If you’ve got a charcoal grill, prep that instead. Cook the skewers for around 4 minutes per side, flipping once, until the meat’s fully cooked.
05 - Serve hot right after cooking.

# Notes:

01 - Soaking wooden skewers in water for half an hour helps prevent them from burning.
02 - You can swap out seven spice with allspice if needed.
03 - No skewers? Shape them into patties instead.
04 - Bake them in the oven at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes as an alternative.
05 - Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze up to 3 months.
