Key Lime Trifle (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 240 ml heavy cream
02 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
03 - 225 g cream cheese, softened
04 - 397 g sweetened condensed milk
05 - Finely grated zest of 2 limes
06 - 120 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
07 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

08 - 285 g graham crackers, crushed
09 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

β†’ Topping and Garnish

10 - 240 ml fresh whipped cream
11 - Extra lime zest for decoration
12 - Lime slices for garnish

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a medium-sized bowl and combine softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, freshly squeezed lime juice, lime zest, and vanilla. Mix until it’s smooth and no lumps are left.
02 - In a chilled bowl, beat powdered sugar and heavy cream together until stiff peaks hold their shape. Keep cold until you need it.
03 - Slowly mix the whipped cream into the lime mixture, being careful not to lose the airy texture.
04 - Mix the crushed graham crackers and melted butter in a small dish. Stir well to coat the crumbs evenly.
05 - Place the graham cracker crust at the bottom of a trifle dish or small serving glasses. Add a layer of the lime cream on top. Repeat layers until your dish is full, ending with the lime cream.
06 - Top it all off with whipped cream, lime slices, and some extra lime zest for color.
07 - Put it in the fridge for at least two hours so everything firms up and the flavors come together nicely.
