Hot Honey Feta Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Coating and Chicken

01 - 1.5 pounds of chicken breasts, boneless and skinless (4 pieces)
02 - 1 cup of plain flour
03 - 2 eggs, large
04 - 1 cup of panko-style breadcrumbs
05 - Paprika, 1 teaspoon
06 - Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
07 - Onion powder, 1 teaspoon
08 - Salt and black pepper, to season

→ Spicy Honey Sauce

09 - 1/2 cup of regular honey
10 - 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
11 - 1-2 tablespoons of your favorite hot sauce (adjust for heat-level)

→ Toppings and Sides

12 - Fresh parsley, chopped for sprinkling
13 - 1/2 cup of feta cheese, crumbled

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange three shallow bowls for breading—flour (mixed with seasonings), beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.
02 - Start by dipping a chicken breast into the seasoned flour, ensuring it's evenly coated. Shake off any extra before dipping into the egg wash, then press it into the panko crumbs until fully covered. Lay on a parchment-lined tray or wire rack.
03 - Pop it into the oven for 20-25 minutes. Flip halfway through cooking and make sure the chicken is golden and the internal temperature hits 165°F (75°C) with a meat thermometer.
04 - In a small pot, mix honey, hot sauce, and vinegar. Stir it over medium heat until you get a warm, smooth mixture. Adjust the spice as needed.
05 - Pour the warm sauce over the cooked chicken. Sprinkle on the feta cheese so it starts to soften slightly.
06 - Add a sprinkle of fresh parsley and serve while it's still warm. Pair it with your choice of side, like salad, rice, or roasted veggies.

# Notes:

01 - Want it spicier? Toss in extra hot sauce!
02 - For crunchier chicken, warm the baking tray before adding the coated pieces.
