03 - A pinch of black pepper.
04 - 1 teaspoon of sea salt.
05 - 1 teaspoon of light soy sauce.
06 - 1/4 cup chicken stock.
07 - 5 large tablespoons of honey.
08 - 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes.
10 - 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar.
11 - 1 tablespoon of minced fresh garlic.
12 - 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, again.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up the air fryer to 180°C for about 5 minutes.
02 - Coat the chicken with cornflour, salt, pepper, and a splash of soy sauce.
03 - Lightly coat the air fryer basket with oil, and place the chicken in a single layer.
04 - Air fry chicken for 5 minutes. Flip over, then cook for another 3–5 minutes.
05 - Combine honey, chicken stock, vinegar, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
06 - Melt the butter in a hot pan and briefly cook garlic for 30 seconds.
07 - Add the sauce mixture to the pan. Stir and let it thicken for 2 minutes.
08 - Toss the cooked chicken in the warm sauce to coat completely.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure the chicken gets to a temperature of 74°C.
02 - Avoid using pre-mixed spray oils.
03 - Want it hotter? Add extra chilli flakes.
04 - You can use whole cuts of chicken for this too.
05 - Tastes best straight out of the pan.
06 - Pair it with fluffy white rice.
07 - As the sauce cools, it'll get thicker.
08 - Love garlic? Use a bit more for that extra punch.
