# Ingredients:

01 - A half-liter of heavy cream (500ml).
02 - 2 large spoons of fermented buttermilk or natural yogurt.

# Instructions:

01 - Put the heavy cream into a spotless glass or ceramic container.
02 - Mix in the buttermilk or yogurt with the cream.
03 - Gently stir to blend everything together.
04 - Place a loose-fitting lid over the container.
05 - Set it aside at room temperature for roughly 12 hours to rest.
06 - The texture should now feel like crème fraîche.
07 - Move the container into the fridge once it's thickened enough.

# Notes:

01 - You need cultured dairy products for this.
02 - Only use containers that won't react with acids.
03 - Good for up to two weeks if kept cold.
04 - The mixture will get thicker as it ferments.
