Cook the pasta in boiling water following the instructions on the package. Drain the water and leave it aside.

Heat up some olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Toss in the chicken pieces and cook them for about 7 to 8 minutes until they’re fully done and golden. Pull them out and place them somewhere else.

Using the same pan, toss in the garlic and mushrooms. Cook them for around 5 minutes until they soften up.

Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer until it reduces a bit, about 3–4 minutes. Then mix in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring for 2 minutes until it thickens.

Throw the pasta and chicken back into the pan, mixing it all so the sauce coats everything really well. Add salt and pepper if needed.

Sprinkle parsley on top and enjoy it warm.
