Green Apple Mocktail (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ To Make the Apple Syrup

01 - 4 tablespoons of honey
02 - 3 tart green apples (like Granny Smith)
03 - 2 cups of plain water

→ Add-Ons for Serving

04 - Ice cubes
05 - Club soda or sparkling water

# Instructions:

01 - Slice up the green apples into small pieces after taking out the cores. Try to move quickly since the pieces will start to turn brown when sitting in the open air.
02 - Toss the apple chunks, plain water, and honey into a big pot. Heat it until it starts boiling, then turn down the heat to keep it gently simmering. Let it cook for about 15 minutes, while smashing the softened apple bits with a spoon once in a while to get more juice out.
03 - Take the pot off the stove and let everything cool to room temperature. After it’s cooled, pour it through a fine strainer into a jug or bowl, gently pressing the solids to squeeze out every bit of flavor. Toss out the leftover solids once this is done.
04 - Put a little of the apple syrup—about 2 or 3 tablespoons—into a glass. Pour sparkling water or club soda on top, add some ice cubes to chill, and stir softly to blend everything together.

# Notes:

01 - This mocktail offers a perfect sweet-tart flavor combination, blending the zing of green apples with honey’s natural sweetness. It’s a fancier non-alcoholic option for any occasion.
02 - The apple syrup you make can stay fresh in the fridge for up to five days, so you can whip up more drinks anytime with no fuss.
