Chop up the garlic and rosemary into small bits.

In a bowl, toss in the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir in olive oil, chopped garlic and rosemary, and sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Give it a good mix.

Put the steak into a plastic bag with a zipper. Pour the marinade on top, seal it up tight, and pop it in the fridge for at least 6 hours.

Warm up a skillet on medium-high. Take the steak out of the bag, dry it off, and cook it to the doneness you like most.
