Goat Cheese Twists (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 oz goat cheese, brought to room temp
02 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
03 - 3 tbsp cane sugar (granulated)
04 - 4 tbsp honey
05 - 10 oz blackberries (can be fresh or frozen)
06 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
07 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
08 - 1 egg, whisked

# Instructions:

01 - Stir blackberries, honey, flour, and cinnamon in a pot. Heat until boiling, then let it simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened. Allow it to cool fully.
02 - Set your oven to 375°F and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
03 - Mix the chilled blackberry filling (1 cup) with goat cheese until smooth.
04 - Spread the mixture across the puff pastry, fold it over, and slice it into ½-inch strips. Twist each slice.
05 - Lay the twists on your prepared tray, brush with the beaten egg, and sprinkle sugar over them.
06 - Pop them in the oven for 20–25 minutes. Take them out when they're golden and crisp.
