Garlic Parmesan Dinner Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough ingredients

01 - 3½ cups all-purpose flour
02 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
03 - 1¼ cups warm water (around 95-105°F)
04 - 1 large egg
05 - 2 tablespoons instant yeast or platinum yeast
06 - 1 teaspoon salt
07 - ⅓ cup canola oil

→ Topping ingredients

08 - ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
09 - 2 teaspoons parsley
10 - 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
11 - 4 tablespoons butter, melted

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a baking sheet and cover it with a parchment sheet or a non-stick liner, then set it aside for later.
02 - Stir sugar and warm water together in a big bowl. Add yeast, mix briefly, and let it sit for 2-5 minutes until bubbles form on top.
03 - Pour in oil, egg, salt, and flour to the foamy yeast mixture. Stir everything until it's smooth. If it's sticky, add extra flour bit by bit.
04 - Cut the dough into 16 pieces and gently roll each one into a ball.
05 - Put the dough balls on your prepped baking sheet. Move them to a warm spot and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes.
06 - Smother the puffed dough with melted butter. Shake on some garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
07 - Turn on your oven to 375°F. Slide the rolls in and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are a nice golden color.
08 - Spread extra melted butter over the hot rolls when they come out of the oven, then serve up.

# Notes:

01 - Yeast works best when water has a temp between 95-105°F. Too hot (above 115°F) and the yeast won't survive.
02 - Kneading helps create soft, airy bread, but here you won't need to knead much.
03 - Want richer flavors? Swap water for milk or replace the egg with some fat-free Greek yogurt, as suggested by someone who tried it.
