Grab a baking sheet and cover it with a parchment sheet or a non-stick liner, then set it aside for later.

Stir sugar and warm water together in a big bowl. Add yeast, mix briefly, and let it sit for 2-5 minutes until bubbles form on top.

Pour in oil, egg, salt, and flour to the foamy yeast mixture. Stir everything until it's smooth. If it's sticky, add extra flour bit by bit.

Cut the dough into 16 pieces and gently roll each one into a ball.

Put the dough balls on your prepped baking sheet. Move them to a warm spot and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes.

Smother the puffed dough with melted butter. Shake on some garlic, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.

Turn on your oven to 375°F. Slide the rolls in and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are a nice golden color.

Spread extra melted butter over the hot rolls when they come out of the oven, then serve up.
