Garlic Herb Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon black pepper.
02 - 1 teaspoon kosher salt.
03 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped small.
04 - 1 1/4 pounds steak, cut into cubes and trimmed.
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder.
06 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter.
07 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
08 - Optional grilled cheese: bread, Swiss cheese, mustard.

# Instructions:

01 - Coat the steak chunks in olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let them soak up the flavor anywhere from 15 minutes to a full day.
02 - Place the pieces in a really hot cast iron pan. Wait 3 full minutes without moving them to get a nice browned crust.
03 - Toss the steak around and cook for an extra 2-3 minutes, depending on how you like it done.
04 - Cut the heat, add butter, and stir everything until it's glazed. Toss parsley over for a fresh kick.

# Notes:

01 - Marinating works up to 24 hours early.
02 - Store leftovers in the fridge, good for 4-5 days.
03 - Enjoy as an appetizer or even a full meal.
