In a big pot, boil salted water and cook the linguine following the package time. Drain it, then leave it for later.

Warm up a skillet on medium-high, melt 1 tbsp of butter, and sprinkle salt and pepper on the steak. Sear each side for about 3 minutes to get it medium-rare. Rest the steak, then slice it into thin pieces.

Drop the second tbsp of butter into the same skillet. Toss in the chopped garlic and heat it up for a quick minute until it smells amazing.

Pour in the cream, mix in the Parmesan, black pepper, and chili flakes. Stir it all and let it bubble gently for a couple minutes until it thickens.

Dump the drained pasta back into the skillet. Stir it around until all the noodles are nicely covered in the creamy sauce.

Move the saucy pasta to plates, layer the steak slices on top, and serve immediately while it’s hot and tasty.
